I’m always amazed at how God makes things fall into place the way He does. Yesterday, my friend had surgery and a client had a procedure. Both took place at the same hospital – on the same floor, in the same place. So, I was able to be with my friend and her family until she went back for surgery. Then, just as that happened, my client arrived for her procedure. I was able to be with her to talk to her doctor beforehand. And I was able to be there when her procedure was finished and talk directly to the doctor. I had dinner plans for last night. But, I did not want to leave the hospital until my friend’s surgery was finished – which happened just in time. Every moment of every day is ordained by God. Sometimes we can’t see the forest for the trees. Yesterday, I stood in amazement as I could see His sovereign Hand in every moment of the day.

I have been meaning to start this blog. Today is as good a day as any. It is my hope to log the day to day events of this ministry so you can see just what goes on with Healthcare Solutions – A Christian Ministry. Today is a monumental day. My friend is having brain surgery this morning. One of the hardest parts of this ministry is when I have to minister to friends and family. Not only am I there because of my relationship, but now I’m there because of this gift God has given me to be able to help with a lot of the details. People are always telling me I have so much knowledge. Well, that is the gift – from God. I am often taken aback by the knowledge that I have for what I do. Don’t ask me about anything else. I can’t remember anything. But, God gives me this incredible ability to remember and to be able to point people just where they need to be. I can say just the right thing to make someone feel so comforted by the fact that they don’t have to know it all because God has given me the ability to know it for them. I will be at registration with my friend this morning. I will sit with her sons for hours while she is in surgery. I will wait and pray that God intervene in a mighty way. In some small way, God will use me to bring some comfort to the family that someone is taking care of some of the details so they have one less thing to worry about. I will be comforted by the Father and pray that His presence will glow in such a way that people around me will see it and want it. I will be humbled as I step aside and allow the Father to do His thing as only He can.
