Healthcare Solutions – A Christian Ministry began on May 1, 2004.  But, the Lord was laying the foundation long before that.  While it does not look good on a resume’, He took me from one job to another, with nothing lasting more than six months.  Finally, I quit my job, and did temporary work until I knew I was in the Lord’s will.  I stayed at a job for 2-1/2 years.  I thought, for certain, that was going to last a life time.  God had more in mind.  I went on to one more job.  All the while God completing the education and training I needed.

On January 1, 2004, I went on a 40 day fast.  I prayed specifically for what God had in mind for me.  I knew where I was certainly wasn’t the final place.

At the end of that fast, I still did not know what He wanted.  But, what I did hear clearly from Him was that I had to first quit my current job.  Only then would He tell me.  So, I gave a one month notice.  That job ended exactly on April 30, 2004.

About two weeks into that one month notice He revealed to me what I should be doing.  With at least 15 years of healthcare experience behind me – at least half of that with the elderly and disabled – God finally told me His will.

So, on May 1, 2004, I surrendered to full time ministry. The Bible tells us in Colossians 3:23, 24 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord, not for men. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” While I worked for The Lord in my secular job, He made it abundantly clear to me that it was time for me to begin a new ministry – HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS – A Christian Ministry. I continue to offer my counsel and advice to families without being affiliated with any one facility.
